Community Action Day in the Addison Road area

Saturday 14th July, 10.30am onwards

Join the Teddington Society and the residents of the Addison Road area for a Community Action Day on Saturday 14th July from 10.30am onwards!

Residents from Addison Road, Borland Road, Downs Road and Hawkins Road – all in the Kingston Lane area – will be getting together on Saturday to plant new flowers, organise a litter pick and regenerate the communal gardens. There will be plenty of activities to keep the children happy, too – and at the end of the operation, there’ll be food for all!

“Meet in the Addison Road playground at 10.30” says organiser Stephanie Stewart-Duncan. “Just bring a dish to share, any garden equipment you may have, and some energy! This will be a great way to meet other residents who are passionate about the area we live in. Together, let’s make our community great again!”

The Teddington Society is delighted to have contributed to this great community project by way of a grant to buy much-needed gardening equipment and plants. The event on Saturday also has the backing and active participation of PC Nick Cheadle and PCSO David Auld of the Hampton Wick Safer Neighbourhood Team, and of local Councillor Jim Millard.
