Teddington Lights Up is back on!

Thursday 29th November at 5.30pm

Following a highly successful crowdfunding appeal, the Teddington Lights Up event planned for Thursday 29th November is back on.

As in previous years, the High Street will become a pedestrian precinct and closed to traffic from 5.30pm to 8pm and local traders will be open until late. The Christmas tree, kindly sponsored by the Lensbury Club, will be in its usual prominent position outside the old Post Office, and the actual lights switch-on is planned for 6pm.

As part of the effort to make the evening happen, Richmond Council has waived its fees for the road closures, and has made a financial donation.

We’ll publish more details as they become known; meanwhile, mark the date in your diary now!
