Tidings 181 – Spring 2018 h1. Members’ Magazine Archive

Welcome to the Archive section of our website. Here, you will find a comprehensive (though not yet complete) collection of our newsletters and magazines for members, going right back to Issue 1 published in October 1973.

Some publications have unfortunately been lost. Numbers 068 to 098, plus forty others, all covering the period 1989 to 2015, are missing – unless, of course, you know otherwise. Should that be the case, and you have any back numbers in your loft, we should be thrilled to hear from you. Any gaps we can fill will help this Archive become an important resource for anyone interested in Teddington’s social history. Some 44 other back copies of Tidings need to be scanned before they can be uploaded to the Archive… a time-consuming task.

Tidings, produced quarterly, is specially written for, and distributed to, members of the Society. It contains a wide range of news and features, including reports from the groups, items of local interest, photographs, details of local events, and exclusive day trips arranged for members.

The magazine is posted to members who live outside the TW11 area, and to those who live in blocks of flats with no easy access.

Because Tidings is a member benefit, the latest editions of the magazine will not appear until 12 months after their publication date. If you can’t wait that long, why not join us – today?
