The Planning Group monitors planning applications and, where necessary, makes representations to the Council or developers, or by arranging public meetings on important changes. We also recommend awards for new or renovated buildings which have made a positive impact on our town.

The Planning Group works to ensure that the best interests of Teddington residents and businesses are looked after.

We want Teddington to continue to thrive, and of course we recognise that means continuous evolution and change – but always within the context of the town’s historic Thames-side past.

The Planning Group has been involved in compiling the Directory of Buildings of Townscape Merit (BTMs) and Listed Buildings
