Born 28th April 1898 at Teddington and baptised 24th July 1898 at St Mary’s Church, Hampton, Middlesex

Educated at Teddington Council School

Enlisted in London as a Private with the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry (New Army)

Signalman (656894) with the Royal Horse Artillery and Signaller (42256) with the Royal Field Artillery, 465th Bty.

Died in Hampshire (England) on 29th November 1918, aged 20

Buried at Christ Church Portsdown Churchyard, Widley, Hampshire, England (Plot: B.23A)
