Victoria Road 20-28
Nos. 20 and 22: These are a pair of 2-storey semi-detached houses in stock brick with slate roofs and ornamental brick chimneys built some time after 1863/64. Each has two windows at first floor level and a larger window on the ground floor with rendered reveals and lintels, all being sash windows with ornamental brackets. The front door is recessed and the entrance has pilasters with simple moulding at the top. The two houses have an architrave over the two doors. There are garages on each side and small front gardens.
Nos. 24, 26 and 28: These comprise a terrace of three houses of stock brick, built some time after 1863/64. Nos. 26 and 28 have slate roofs and no. 24 concrete tiles. No. 28 is situated on the corner of Victoria Road and Clarence Road with its front door in Clarence Road. They are similar in design to nos. 20 and 22, but have arches over the front doorways and architraves over the downstairs porches. They have small front gardens.
