Born 3rd August 1888 at Stanwell Moor, Middlesex (now Surrey)
Brother of [[Bevan, Gordon F|Gordon Frederick Bevan]] (1888-1915, killed in WW1)


Emigrated to Canada in 1907 and employed as a florist there.
Born 18th December 1891 at Stanwell Moor, Middlesex (now Surrey)


He enlisted in Valcartier, Quebec, Canada on 23rd September 1914
Educated at Croydon High School, Croydon, Surrey


Private (16861), 7th Battalion , Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regt)
Previously served with the 1st Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders (Territorials).


He was sent to France in February 1915 and was killed in action there on
Emigrated to Australia and enlisted at Eastern Hill in the State of Victoria, Australia
on 24th August 1914


16th March 1915, aged 26 years.
as Private with the 6th Battalion of the Australian Infantry, A.I.F.  


Buried in Rue-David Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix, Departement du Pas-de-Calais,
He joined the Commonwealth Expeditionary Force in September 1914. and left with


Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France (Grave Ref. II.F.46)
the main force for Egypt in October 1914 and then to the Dardanelles in April 1915.

Ernest Victor Bevan

Son of the late James Frederick Bevan of Stanwell, Middlesex

and Hannah Bevan née Parker of 62 Kingston Road, Teddington

Brother of Gordon Frederick Bevan (1888-1915, killed in WW1)

Born 18th December 1891 at Stanwell Moor, Middlesex (now Surrey)
