Lived at Lincoln House, Fairfax Road, Teddington
Midshipman (Royal Navy) on HMS Verulam, a V-Class Destroyer, during the Campaign in the Baltic 1918-19,
part of the anti-Bolshevik intervention in Russia. His ship struck a mine off the island of Seiskari in
the Gulf of Finland and sank during the night of 3rd–4th September 1919 and he was drowned, aged 18
Listed on Chatham Naval Memorial, Chatham, Kent
Listed on Portsmouth Cathedral Memorial, Baltic Waters 1918-1919.
