Son of Henry Sumpton and Sarah Ann Sumpton née Cook

Born 1st October 1893 at Teddington

Gardener living at 9 Latimer Road, Teddington in 1911.

Enlisted as Private (G/6230) with Royal Fusiliers, 2nd (City of London) Battn.

Died at home from wounds received at Arras in France on 9th June 1917, aged 23.

Buried on 13th June 1917 in Teddington Cemetery (Plot L-Border)
