Son of William James Sapsworth and Frances Alice Sapsworth née Tugwell
Born about 1867-1869 at Stratford, Essex, England
Educated at Hampton Grammar School
Married Mary Ann Needs on 23rd January 1897 at Church of the Sacred Heart, Teddington
Enlisted as Corporal (24043) with the Royal Field Artillery in 1914, aged 45
Died on 20th January 1915 at Connaught Hospital, Aldershot, Hampshire, England
Buried at Aldershot Military Cemetery, Aldershot, Hampshire, England (Plot: AF.1794)
