Sidney Scott

Born about 1895 at Kingston-upon-Thames.

Brother of Mrs Ellen Chapman of 70 York Road, Teddington

Educated at Teddington Council School

A Sunday school teacher at Mr Willett's Sunday School.

According to his niece he did not wish to go to the war, but enlisted at Hounslow.

Private (T.F.202085) with the Middlesex Regiment, 2nd Battalion

Killed in action in France on 5th Oct 1917

Buried at Pont d'Achelles Military Cemetery, Nieppe, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France (Grave Ref. I. F.12)
