Cecil Herbert Palmer

Son of Clement Sadler Palmer (1854-1917) and Martha Elizabeth Millns (1858-1943)

of Ringmore Lodge, 63 Teddington Park Road, Teddington (1917)

Born 2nd May 1898 at New Southgate, Middlesex, England


On 14 August 1914 he enlisted as a Gunner in the Royal Marines and served in France for two and a half years

before being discharged due to the effects of gas poisoning which ultimately caused his death in April 1920.

He was given a military funeral and was buried at Teddington Cemetery on 12th April 1920, aged 21.

His name is recorded on the Teddington Baptist Church War Memorial.
