Dennis George King

Son of George Russell King and Lilian Winifred King née Austin

of 31 St Winifred’s Road, Teddington, Middlesex

Born 8th May 1922 at Twickenham, Middlesex

Graduated from St Andrew’s University

2nd Lieutenant, The Royal Sussex Regiment seconded to Sudan Political Service

Died 7th Dec 1942 when the SS Ceramic en-route to Cape Town, South Africa

was torpedoed by a German submarine and sunk in the Atlantic off The Azores.

Listed on the Roll of the Fallen of St Andrew’s University
