Served in Egypt October 1915-March 1916 and France from March 1916
Wounded by an enemy shell in France on 4th August 1916
Returned to France and served up to the end of the war on 11th November 1918
Married Eva May Warren/Williamson in 1920 and lived at 58 Cambridge Road, Teddingon
Died at Teddington after a long illness contracted in France during his war service
on 11th September 1927, aged 36 Years
Buried 15th September 1927 at Teddington Cemetery (Plot L Grave C3.866)
