Son of James Curtis and Marian Emily Curtis née Drysdale of 43 Watts Lane, Teddington

Born about March 1899 at Wimbledon, Surrey

Enlisted at Staines, while living at Teddington

Rifleman (S/37663) Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort’s Own), 13th Battn. (Formerly TR/10/6284, 22nd T.R., MM)

Awarded a Military Medal

Killed in action 4th November 1918 at or near Louvignes, South of Le Quesnoy, France, aged 19

Buried at Ghissignies British Cemetery, Ghissignies, Departement du Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France (Plot: B.6)
