Charles Edward Silver

Son of Thomas George Silver and Anne Silver née Poulter of Hartley Wintney, Hampshire

Born about October 1884 at Winchfield, Hampshire

Assistant baker at Lemon’s (Bakers and Confectioners) of High Street, Teddington

Enlisted in Richmond as Private (2053) with the East Surrey Regiment, 2nd Battn.


Killed in action on 12th March 1915 near Ypres, West Flanders (West-Vlaanderen), Belgium

Listed on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, West Flanders, Belgium (Panel 34)
