Son of Charles Redknap and Jane Charlotte Redknap née Bayton of Argyle Road, Teddington

Born about July 1881 at Kingston-Upon-Thames, Surrey

Married Alice Hughes at Kingston on 22nd August 1908

Enlisted at Kingston, whilst living at Teddington

Lance Corporal (L/6338), The Queens (Royal West Surrey Regiment), 1st Battn.

Killed in action in France or Belgium on 31st October 1914

Listed on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, West Flanders, Belgium (Panels 11-13 and 14)
