Grade II listed in 1996. Former artisans' workshops at Normansfield Hospital.
These workshops were part of the former Normansfield Hospital for people with learning disabilities. After the hospital was closed down on the late 1990s and sold off for development they were extended and converted to 4 affordable homes.
The listing description is:
"Late C19. Yellow stock brick with red brick dressings and bands. Red tiled pitched roofs. A long, single-storey block with red brick cambered arches to 3-light transom and mullion windows. Doors are part-glazed. Interiors: plain and functional. This row of workshops was built specifically for the use of disabled patients. They are the first workshops built specifically for the disabled."
