Bertie Charles Wooldridge

Son of Benjamin Frederick Wooldridge (1881-1958)

and Ellen Elizabeth Wooldridge née Sadgrove (1880-1954)

Born 8th January 1915 at Kingston, Surrey

Lived at 8 Burtons Road, Hampton Hill, Middlesex

Educated at Stanley Road School, Teddington

Flt/Sgt.(565236) R.A.F. 139 Squadron

Died 18th September 1941 at Margate General Hospital, aged 26 years

from injuries sustained whilst flying in Blenheim IV Z7454 of No 88 Sqn,

which crash landed at RAF Manston having been damaged by a Bf 110

during an anti-shipping sortie.

Awarded D.F.M. and Mentioned in Despatches

Buried 24th Sep 1941 in Teddington Cemetery (Plot Cu Grave AB.51)

Probate 2nd Feb 1942 at Llandudno
