The Environment Group
The Teddington Society has The Environment Group (TEG) which is very actively involved in everyday issues like litter, waste bins, graffiti, composting, fly-tipping, fly-posting and re-cycling, and, indeed, looking after the recycling sites themselves. Recent major campaigns have included Teddington toilets, pavements, and A Boards. TEG is also continually seeking to bring global issues to a local level in Teddington and improve its environment, particularly with regard to climate change, oil peak levels, pollution, and plastic bags.
TEG is chaired by Geoff Howland.
