Born about September 1897 at Acton, Middlesex

Educated at Teddington Council School

Enlisted at Hounslow, while living at Teddington

Listed on Roll of Local Patriots (Surrey Comet), 27th March 1915

Private (16033) with Royal Berkshire Regiment (Princess Charlotte of Wales's), 1st Battn.

Killed in action in France on 26th June 1916

Buried at Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France (Plot: I. A. 5/16)
