Douglas Guille Nisbet
Son of William Nisbet and Ellen Louise Nisbet née Guille
of "Rosebriars", Esher Park, Esher, Surrey
Born 20th July 1895 at Kingston upon Thames, Surrey
Educated at Marlborough College, September 1909 to July 1913
At the start of WW1 he joined the Inns of Court OTC and in October 1914 he was commissioned
as Lieutenant with the 3rd South Wales Borderers and left for France in the following December.
Wounded in February 1915, he returned after eight months to the front, and was killed in action
on June 10th 1916, aged 21 years.
Buried at Aveluy Communal Cemetery Extension, Aveluy, Departement de la Somme, France
