Note: From 1922-37, the Udney Park War Memorial Playing Fields, registered with the War Memorial Trust, were dedicated as the WW1 War Memorial for the Old Boys and Staff of Old Merchant Taylor's School. The Imperial War Museum website gives details and a list of 315 names of Old Boys and Staff who died as a result of service in WW1. These names were on a set of panels in the War Memorial Clubhouse which still exists as the War Memorial Pavilion for the Udney Park War Memorial Playing Fields. The panels were moved to a new Old Boys Clubhouse at Durrants, Herts in 1937 and then again in 2011 to a Clubhouse at Moor Park shared between the school and the Old Boys.
