Henry (Harry) Wright

Son of George and Annie Wright of 3 Stanley Gardens Road, Teddington

Born about October 1891 at Staines, Middlesex

Educated at Teddington Council School, Stanley Road, Teddington

Enlisted at Kingston-on-Thames, whilst living at Teddington.

Private (L/9597) with The Queen’s (Royal West Surrey Regiment), 2nd Bn.

Sent to France on 1st October 1914 and died of his wounds in Belgium

just twenty-days later on 30th October 1914, aged 23 years

Buried at Ypres Town Cemetery Extension, Ypres, West Flanders, Belgium
