Son of Charles William Anstead and Jessie Anstead née Curtis of 74 Field Lane, Teddington

Born about October 1890 at Hammersmith, Middlesex

Enlisted at London while living in Teddington

Sergeant (S/2749) with Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort’s Own), 10th Battn.

Died of wounds in Belgium on 28th March 1916

Buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Poperinge, West Flanders, Belgium
