Leonard Cyril Barclay

Son of Alexander Barclay and Eliza Ann Elizabeth Barclay née Trigg

of 1 Laburnum Cottages, Church Lane, Teddington

Born 30th November 1894 at Teddington

Baptised 24th July 1895 at St Peter and St Paul's Church, Teddington.

Employed as a gentleman's valet, he enlisted at Marylebone, Middlesex.

Private (17161) with the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry

and then Private (10013) with the Machine Gun Corps (Infantry)

Killed in action in Belgium on 25th July 1916, aged 21 years.

Buried at La Laiterie Military Cemetery, Ypres (Ieper), West Flanders (West-Vlaanderen), Belgium (Grave II.C.12)
