Kenneth André Cockerell

Son of Harry Cockerell and Madeline Marguerite Cockerell née Devassine

Born about October 1919 at Kingston-Upon-Thames, Surrey

Educated at Thames Valley Grammar School, Twickenham, Middlesex

Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force

Died 19th June 1940 in a motor accident during a ‘black-out’ on the

Lincoln-Sleaford Road at Temple Bruer, Lincolnshire, aged 21 years.

Buried at St. Michael Churchyard, Waddington, Lincolnshire

Listed on the Teddington Baptist Church War Memorial

Listed on the Thames Valley Grammar School War Memorial
