Joined the staff of Westminster Bank in May 1938, working at Teddington branch.

In 1941 he reported for war service.

Sergeant (1333918), Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, 15th Sqdn.

Killed during air operations over Germany on 24th August 1943, aged 21 years.

Listed on the NatWest Bank War Memorial (now located in the King Street Branch at Twickenham).
