Private with the Royal Army Medical Corps, attached to the 41st Brigade of the British Expeditionary Force.
Transferred as Gunner (74526) with the Royal Field Artillery, 9th Battery.
Killed in action at Villiers Cotterette, France on 1st September 1914, aged 21.
Final resting place unknown
