Born 22nd December 1895 in 31 Luther Road, Teddington, Middlesex

Private (19191), Norfolk Regt, (R.T.D.)

Awarded the Military Medal for gallantry under fire.

Pioneer (WR/204756), Corps of Royal Engineers, Railways Battalion

Died at the 10th Canadian Stationary Hospital, Sangatte, nr Calais, France

on 23rd June 1918, aged 23 years.

Buried at Les Baraques Military Cemetery, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France
