Enlisted at Kingston on Thames, whilst living at West Molesey in Surrey

Private (G30964) with the East Surrey Regiment, 12th Battalion

Died from disease whilst serving in France on 16th January 1917

Buried at Etaples Military Cemetery, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, France (Grave Ref. XXI. B. 11A)
