Harry Duncan Archer Wainwright

Son of Harry Joseph Wainwright and Jane Eliza Wainwright née Williamson

of 227 Hampton Road, Twickenham (formerly of 14 York Road, Teddington)

Born 9th February 1889 at Brompton Road, Kensington, Middlesex

Joined the Royal Navy on 12th July 1907

Leading Stoker (311912) serving on the battleship HMS Goliath in 1915

Died when HMS Goliath was sunk in the Dardanelles on 13th May 1915, aged 26

Only 180 of the 750 men onboard the ship at that time survived.

His body was not recovered and he has no grave but the sea.
