Son of Arthur Bertie Thomas Wood and Mabel Wood née Oxlade of 128 Church Road, Teddington

Spouse of Diane Margery Wood née Walden of Burnham Road, Sidcup, Kent

Born 29th May 1916 at Teddington

Sub-Lieut. (Pilot) with 826 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, R.N.V.R

Based at HMS Grebe (RN Air Station), Dekheila, near Alexandria, Egypt

Killed in a flying accident at sea off May Island on 31st March 1943.

Listed on Lee-On-Solent Memorial, Hampshire

Listed on the Teddington Baptist Church WW2 Roll of Hono
