"Detached 2-storey house in grey brick with slate roof.Sash windows. Splayed bay on ground floor.Entrance recessed in porch with rounded arch & added porch. French windows above door probably opened originally onto a balcony. Distinctive gable covers full width of house with decorative barge-boards and brackets with semi-circular window in angle. Detached garage at rear." TeddSoc 1975.
