No. 27 is one of a pair of semi-detached cottages (with no. 25) with a frontage on to the pedestrian part of Middle Lane leading to North Lane, brick built, 2-storey with slate roof and single storey side addition with front door and 2-storey extension behind. It has a new oriole window on the ground floor, not in keeping, and has a small front garden.
