The 1973 TeddSoc Survey states: "Detached, double-fronted house, 2-storey with semi-basement; brick with stone facings in window frames. Slate roof with 2 dormer windows. Upper windows (all windows sash) with curved tops. Entrance recessed in stone porch up steps. Car park in forecourt. Dept of the Environment Driving Test Centre. At rear, approached by paved drive is Conservative Club for Teddington. Modern single storey building in panelling & glass."
