No. 27 is one of a pair of semi detached cottages (with No. 25) with a frontage on to the pedestrian part of Middle Lane leading to North Lane, brick built, two storey with slate roof and single storey side addition with front door and two storey extension behind. It has a new oriole window on the ground floor, not in keeping, and has a small front garden.
