The 1973 TeddSoc Survey states " Red Lion Public House (attached to no 166), semi-detached, 2-storey in red brick, part colour-washed, yellow stone facings, tiled roof. Sash windows with pediment over.Gables on both Stanley Rd & Victor Rd facades. Square bay on ground floor in Victor Rd. Garage & outbuildings in Victor Rd".
