No. 23 is one of a pair of semi detached cottages (with no. 21), with a frontage on to the pedestrian part of Middle Lane leading to North Lane, 2-storey, brick built, slate roof, with a side addition with front door, similar to nos. 13 and 15. It has new plastic windows including an oriole ground floor window and a small front garden with brick boundary wall.
