Property: "The Lion" pub

" Ground floor is of brightly npainted plaster, while the upper storey is of yellow brick with red decoration. Near the top of the building (which appears to be flat-roofed)bricks are set edgewise to form a pattern. There is reputed to be an original stables block still standing behind the pub". TeddSoc 1975.
